Burlesque is a 2010 Golden Globe Award winning musical film directed and written by Steven Antin and starring Cher and Christina Aguilera.
Cher and Aguilera contributed to the sound- track album, with Aguilera contributing to eight out of the ten songs with Cher taking the remaining two. The album was released in the USA on November 22, 2010. The song 'You Haven't Seen The Last of Me', penned by Diane Warren and sung by Cher, won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in 2011.

Based out of San Antonio Texas, the Mark Searcy Band's passion is the Blues. Ranging from West Coast Swing to Chicago and Texas Blues and everything in between, the band is led by 2007 Texas Music Awards Finalist, Mark Searcy, whose influences include Blind Willie McTell, Robert Johnson, T-Bone Walker, Freddy King, Sue Foley, and Kirby Kelley. Mark is joined by featured sideman Rick Boss who has some 40+ years experience of blowing some of the best blues harp on either side of the Mississippi. The majority of the vocals are handled by the lovely and most capable Kori Hubbard with Texas natives Allen Daniell & Lyle Burke rounding out a groovin' rythem section on bass and drums, respectively.

Of course, Bassey is no stranger to collaborations, having guested on the Propellerheads' wondrous '60s big-beat anthem "History Repeating" and Swiss electronic duo Yello's 1987 hit "The Rhythm Divine."

New York Voices - New York Voices

The debut recording by the New York Voices is more impressive for the sound and talent of the group than for the material they perform. A somewhat commercial effort (all recent poppish songs other than "'Round Midnight" and "Caravan") given mundane arrangements, this set features the group at a time when they had five vocalists and were clearly hoping to sell a lot of records. One can hear the potential of the vocal ensemble come through, and thankfully most of the material heard on this set has been long discarded. This is a CD that is more intriguing on a historic rather than musical level.
